Kim's Lactose Free Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 brown onion, Halved
  • 60 grams Lite Nutellex
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 500 grams Beef, Cut into strips
  • 60 grams tomato paste
  • 125ml Liddells light lactose free thickened cream
  • 1 teaspoon beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 20 grams Worchestershire sauce
  • pinch salt
  • 2 carrots, Peeled, sliced
  • 1 Red capsicum, medium, Sliced
  • 1 zucchini, Sliced
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, Sliced

  • 4 cups cabbage, Chopped

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Chop onion in mixing bowl 


    3 sec, speed 7 


     


    2. Scrape down sides then add Nutellex and Praprika


    3 min, Varoma, speed 1


     


    3. Add beef, beef stock & punch of salt to taste


    10mins,100•c, speed 1 


    (Remove measuring cup & replace with TM basket to stop splatter)


     


    4. Add tomato paste, thickened cream, cornflour & worchestershire sauce


    10mins, 100•c, speed 1


    (Remove measuring cup & replace with TM basket to stop splatter)


     


    5. Add carrots, capsicum, zucchini & mushrooms


    Place cabbage in Varoma


    5 mins, 100•c, speed 1


     


    6. Serve stroganoff over cabbage.

  • Yum! I did steam the carrots

    Yum! I did steam the carrots for 5 minutes prior to adding into the casserole. That was only personal preference, however. Thank you - great recipe.
