Tip
I used a cube of beef stock, but it would easily work with TM stock paste, though may require some experimenting to see how much.
Use a slotted spoon to scoop the meat sauce into the baking dish to prevent the lasagne being too saucy!
There is no heat in this recipe, so it's perfect for kids too, but if you're like me and like a little bite, this is extra yummy with some Tabasco sprinkled over

Hello, how many layers should this make? I find whenever I make lasagna I usually put too many layers in and run out of sauce or meat! And what size baking dish? Getting these things wrong can make or break a lasagna so it would be nice to have these details.

10 stars! This was amazing! As good as I had in Italy, seriously
There was another lady
There was another lady further down that used dried sheets and said the lasagne turned out quite dry. I wouldn't know how to remedy that as the meat sauce is quite runny already, so would be reluctant to add more liquid. It's definitely a winner with fresh lasagne sheets (which you can freeze any unused portion of).
Would this be ok with packet

This is a winner is our house. My husband said it is the best lasagna he has ever had! It is also very easy to make. I never used to make lasagna very often as it is such a mission but this recipe is great. Thank you.

Hi Nibstara, if you think the dish was a bit dry, next time try using fresh lasagne sheets instead of dried & add a zucchini to the meat mixture. This should sort out the consistency. Have fun with it. X
Seriously a recipe everyone
Seriously a recipe everyone should try! I absolutely love it, my partner was not keen on me trying to make it as usually I fail fantastically when trying new recipes! But this was a total success! I made it for the second time last night & added zuccini & mushrooms with the other vegies, it was great. The first time I made the Bechamel was a bit of a disaster as I had the blades on reverse (probably proving my partner's point haha) but I just fiddled with it & it was fine. Last night I followed the recipe & it was a lot better! Definitely a new favourite!

No recipe has ever lived up to mums lasagna until we tried this one. Made it last weekend as gluten free and making it again tonight. Thank you!
I should mention that the swap to gluten free bechamel required a fair bit extra flour as well as longer in the thermomix and the sauce then became very floury so I added both tasty and Parmesan to the sauce and it was delicious.

Beautiful recipe!!! This is a fave in our household. I added zucchini, mushrooms & extra carrot to the bolognese mix and added cheese at melting stage of the bechamel sauce mix. I add extra milk to the bechamel as its too thick for my liking. Thank you for posting x
Much easier than my
Much easier than my traditional lasagne recipe! I found the white sauce to be a little too thick for me and it was hard to spread, so next time will either reduce the flour or add more milk to it. Like others have done I will also add more veggies to the mix next time too.

This was great. Did alter slightly though. Added zucchini, ginger, extra onions and garlic, used Italian herbs instead of oregano, and added the cheese to the white sauce and used GF flour. Also used GF pasta sheets.

Our family gobbled this down. I added a zucchini to the first step & used 1 carrot Instead of 2. I doubled the tomato paste & added a splash of red wine & used roughly one tablespoon thermo veggie stock. Omitted sugar & salt. Bechamel sauce I used on bottom layer of dish & after last layer of lasagne, then covered with cheese. Thanks for sharing, delicious!!
