Recipe's preparation
Place onion, garlic, carrot, zucchini, parsley and salt into Thermomix. Chop on speed 8 for 5-10 seconds or until very finely chopped.
Add chicken and around 2 tablespoons of flour and chop on speed 8 for 15 - 20 seconds or until it has all blended together to form a mince mixture.
Take small teaspoon sized amounts and roll into balls and place on a plate. Cover and place in the fridge for around 30 minutes.
Using a non-stick fry pan heat some olive oil. Coat balls in flour and place them in the pan. Flatten them using a spatula so that they are in a chicken nugget shape. Cook on a low-medium heat until golden brown (around 4-5 minutes each side depending on level of heat).

Tip
Get the kids involved and have them help roll the balls and put them in the flour. Slightly messy but great fun! This is a great way to add some veggies to your child's diet if they are fussy eaters!
Add some dipping sauce for extra flavour!
This recipe makes a lot of nuggets so you can freeze some and use them another day as a quick, easy meal.

HIT WITH HUBBY!!
I made these chicken nuggets last night on a whim and they were a hit with the hubby. I squished them into a more rectangle shape before putting them in the pan, just to get that 'nugget look'. Great recipe, thanks for sharing!
Do you freeze them once they
Do you freeze them once they are cooked or before cooking? If after they are cooked then how best to re heat? Just in the microwave? Won't taste the same..

I've made these several timew and the whole family loves them. I usually make them at the last minute so I don't refrigerate them and I add extra flour to the. Ixture and don't roll them in flour. I bake at 180C for 20 minutes then turn and bake for another 10 minutes at 180C.

I made these tonight and the flavour was really good. The texture was a little dense but I may have blended them for a couple of seconds too long so next time will aim for a shorter burst with the chicken.

I imagine it would be that the tablespoons is what goes INTO the mix, and the rest is what the nuggets get rolled in?

These look great. Do they really hold together as well as they look like they do? I find so many things don't without proper crumbing. Will definitely give these a go as they as so much easier than flour egg and breadcrumbs!!
What an easy alternative to
What an easy alternative to those highly processed chicken nuggets from the supermarket and other dubious fast-food type places. I can imagine they would go perfectly with a little Thermomix made tomato or sweet chilli sauce.
