- 1 tablespoon vegetable stock concentrate
- 500 grams water
- 400 grams tomatoes canned
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- pinch cracked pepper

Recipe's preparation
1. Place onion and garlic into TM bowl. Chop 3 seconds / speed 5.5
2. Cook 4 mins / 100 / speed 1.5 / "Counter-clockwise operation"
3. Add lentils, vege stock, water and tomatoes. Cook 30 mins / 100 / speed 2 / "Counter-clockwise operation" with steaming basket on top
4. Add all other ingredients: tomato paste, vinegar, soy sauce, mustard seeds, Dijon mustard, pepper and salt if desired. Cook 15 mins / 100 / speed 2 / "Counter-clockwise operation" with steaming basket on top
5. Check lentils are cooked. If not cook for another 5 mins / 100 / speed 2 / "Counter-clockwise operation"
6. Serve with fresh bread

Tip
1. Use fresh tomatoes instead of canned if preferred.
2. Feel free to add herbs or spices to taste
3. I served this with fresh wholemeal bread. Consider also serving with grated cheese.
