Tip
My granddaughter loves these and I tend to make a batch of these then my raw carrot cake pops at the same time to last a week of lunches. You could also just double the recipe.

Oats banana balls were delicious.I rolled them in desiccated coconut.
I substituted coconut oil for butter.
.I was disappointed in the amount of choc chips for a healthy snack, so only gave 3 stars although the basis for this recipe is good.
I will omit choc chips next time and add, if anything, about 20 g of chopped dried fruit or nuts.
Will also double the recipe.

My fussy eaters ate these .
My fussy eaters ate these . I would definitely add the coconut next time. The banana over powered the taste. I did however roll the balls in coconut after reading the comments and it took a slight bit of the banana flavour back a notch. Thank you for this quick healthy snack.
These are great and really
These are great and really yummy. I found they are easier to roll if you use semi defrosted banana and I also use latex gloves and they don't stick to your hands. Delicious!

I add 20-50 grams of desiccated coconut to mine as well usually. But I am not sure if coconut is allowed at a "nut free" school.
