Delicious recipe! Make it at least once a month. I have started making the sauce in the TM and then throwing everything into the slow cooker, best smell to come home to!
Really nice and very easy to
Really nice and very easy to prepare. I halved the curry powder and I'm glad I did although I'm not a fan of much spice at all.
Thoroughly enjoyed this meal.
Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Like others though I was a little confused with the "1.5 MC coconut cream" and read elsewhere that it stood for "metric cup", so ended up adding 1.5 cups of coconut cream (just over 400 ml). I've now learnt from reading posts that it should have been 1.5 Thermomix measuring cups which would be about 150 ml of coconut cream. It explains now why my curry beef had plenty of sauce! Still, it worked a treat.
Took the advice of @D88 and instead of 1 kg of beef, I used 500g beef and around 300g of root vegetables. Potatoes, carrots and turnip.
I also added an extra 30 minutes of cooking time to soften the vegetables.
Although in hindsight that could have been because MC was lost in translation and I added a can instead of much less! :O All in all a great dish. Made great leftovers. Will make again.
Easy and delicious, also

Love this recipe!
A family favorite. I also cook it for an hour then leave it (either in the fridge or out depending on the time) until 30 min before we want to eat dinner then pop it back on for another 30min with the coconut cream (I use more than 1.5 TM cup) and about 2 cups of chopped veggies. Beautiful!

Delicious curry even my 3 year old loved it !
This recipe is soooo worth
This recipe is soooo worth trying it was just AMAZING!! I used Madras curry powder that I had in the cupboard. I also served it with a few extras that as kids mum used to serve up with our curries. Sliced banana, coconut, sultanas, cucumber & natural yoghurt & wedges of lemon. This made it so much more delicious .... YUMMO!!
We added in a little more coconut cream as it's pretty strong with the Madras curry powder I used & we only cooked it for half the time (only cause I used rump) & it was still delicious. I left the mc off for the last 15 mins to thicken the sauce a little more.
Wish I read what MC was
Wish I read what MC was before I made this! Pretty tasty...

Fantastic recipe - highly recommend! Was very tasty. My butcher didn't have chuck steak so I used blade steak instead. Whipped up some naan bread before I made the curry and had that as well. Got a 9/10 from my 8 family members that were over for dinner.

I made this with rump & cooked only for 30min & I also only used 3tspn of curry powder. A few shakes of dried chilli as I can't handle to much heat. Beautiful flavours the best curry I've made in thermie!!
Delicious. I halved the curry
Delicious. I halved the curry powder, cooked for 1 hour. I put it in the fridge to have the next night. I added the coconut milk at this stage to ensure tenderness. I then cooked for further 30 mins. The flavours developed well overnight. Also left out the onion completely as they affect my digestion, used rice malt syrup instead of honey and apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar. It was great. Will be cooking it again.

1.5 coconut cream would mean 1.5 of the mc (measuring cup). Hope that helps, this ones on my menu for tonight. Looks yummy and it's a cold wet grey day here today so nothing like a good curry to warm you up.
