- 6 apples
- 100g coconut oil
- 100g Coconut Flour
- 100g walnuts
- 80g Coconut sugar
- pinch cinnamon
- 30g water

Recipe's preparation
Peel and quarted the apple. Put in the TM bowl and chop for 4 secs speed 4.
Add the water and the cinnamon and cook on temp 80, speed 2 for 5 mins ot until soft
Spread the apple mixure in the pie dish,
Put the walnuts, coconut oil, sugar and flour into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 secs on speed 5. Spread crumble over the apple and cook in the over for 15-20 mins until golden and crispy.

I also halved coconut oil and sugar. Could halve crumble or double apples depending on quantity required. I added blueberries to the apple before baking and subsituted walnuts with almonds and macadamias. I didn't bother peeling apples and it was fine. Served with Thermie yoghurt. Delicious! Reheating a serve now for a moderately healthy morning tea! Thanks for posting the recipe! I will definitely make again!
This is my new fave dessert
This is my new fave dessert recipe! Making it for the fourth time in 2 weeks. I change it up a little in the following ways.
1 small packet defrosted berry fruits - place in the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle coconut over it.
Cook apple with some mango through it - layer it on top of berry fruit and coconut.
Use macadamia nuts instead of walnuts.

Beautiful flavour. I found that the coconut flour absorbed the juice too much. I added some oats to the crumble mix as well.

Lovely flavour. I reduced coconut oil and coconut sugar by half. I doubled the apples and added two chopped up nectarines that were over ripe and wanted to use them up. I also added sultanas to my apples once cooked and extra cinnamon and some allspice as we love that flavour in this house. Had this with yoghurt.

Very nice but I changed it a little, by using half apples and half semi ripe pears. No need to peel them.
You really only need 50g of coconut oil and 40g of sugar. Used mixed spice instead of cinnamon.
This is a regular in our house, we even eat it for breakfast with Vanilla Yogurt - yum

I only used half the oil suggested and that was fine. There was a lot of crumble though so I'd halve it next time. Yum and healthy.

I love this recipe ..it tasted great and was really easy to make ...always looking for grain free recipes like this one.

Yummo! How easy and yummy this is. Completely forgot each and every time to add coconut oil but I like the drier crumble anyway. I tend to make a double batch of crumb so we can have it easily and quickly as a after dinner treat. I found mixing up the nut varieties makes it even tastier- pistachios, almonds and macadamias. Just made most recent version with blueberries (added at water and cinnamon stage) and pear. Divine. Thankyou
My crumble was soggy I think
My crumble was soggy I think I will cut down the oil next time and chop it for a shortened time. It was still yummy though
