  • I used fresh chicken breast

    Submitted by AshyJade on 24. August 2016 - 21:02.

I used fresh chicken breast tonight and it wasnt powdery. I agree it was probably because it was frozen beforhand that made it happen to you

    Submitted by AshyJade on 24. August 2016 - 21:00.

Very nice soup, i added more chicken. At the end i also poured it into the thermoserver and then put in vermicelli rice noodles, i made sure the noodles were covered and left for a couple minutes and then served. Noodles gave it something extra. Kids both ate it all aswell

  •   just curious. I made this

    Submitted by olgirl66 on 21. April 2016 - 22:56.

just curious. I made this soup tonight but after blitzing the soup at end as per recipe I noticed the soup appears to have a powdery texture. Could this be from using chicken breasts that had been frozen rather than fresh. If anyone has any thoughts would appreciate the feedback. Would be a fan of this soup otherwise.

  • Great soup!!! I have frozen

    Submitted by Bevyp on 27. April 2014 - 14:18.

Great soup!!! I have frozen this soup & it still good to eat.  My kids are fussy so I blitzed the soup for  10 seconds at the end & it gave that shredded chicken texture through the soup.  Thanks for sharing ,will be making this again Big Smile

  • This soup was great,

    Submitted by ruthiv on 12. April 2014 - 09:54.

This soup was great, beautifully creamy and very tasty. I did not have any TM veggie stock so I used chicken stock cubes instead. One small thing though, I felt it tasted a little 'raw' at first so I gave it some more time cooking and it was better. I agree with the old adage of soups being better the next day but it didn't stop eveyone cleaning their bowls! The family loved it tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Lovely chicken soup, although

    Submitted by wendyroo on 1. April 2014 - 11:27.

Lovely chicken soup, although I think it could do with more added flavour. This is a good base for chicken soup. You could add so many other flavours. I will try this again and try adding more vegetables and spice maybe or bacon but well done this helps me to adapt my own soup recipes for the thermo. I also used cooking cream which is far better than ordinary cream, thats just my preference. Thankyou for sharing. tmrc_emoticons.)
