This would have to be the best margarita I have ever tasted and I have tried many. I didn't put as much ice in or the rgg white not so much a sorbet but a delicious icy cold cocktail. I didn't add salt just rimmed the glass in the traditional way.

Hope your sorbets worked well

Wink Hope your sorbets worked well and your demo was a success

We did freeze some and whilst

We did freeze some and whilst the alcohol separated a bit during freezing i just stirred it and it seemed to come together okay, put it this way i got no complaints. The last lot we made was using an expensive tequila and the difference was amazing and so much better.

Oh yum, yum!  This was so

Oh yum, yum!  This was so deliious!  As I said in an earlier post, we are margarita fanatics and just found this to be the ulimate.  The texture was divine!  I salted the glasses, rather than adding salt to the sorbet.  Would like to try making a batch and keeping it in the freezer as it's my birthday soon and I would like to have bulk supplies ready.  Next time I will add a touch more lime as we like it tart.  I had trouble accessing the recipe though as the facebook link didn't  work and nothing came up with a search on the web page either.  Had to naviagate here via my previous posts.  Hope they fix this so others don't miss out!

Sorry, don't know how I

Sorry, don't know how I managed to post my comment twice.  THanks for your reply.  Will definitely try next week when I catch up with friends.

My friends and I are huge

My friends and I are huge Margarita fans so will definitely be making this.  I wonder how many serves it makes?  I'm new to thermomix so not familiar with the quantity/volume of ice?

From memory it made 6 to 8

From memory it made 6 to 8 glasses like those indicated in the picture.

Only complaint was that it gave them brain freeze but i think thats because they drank it a bit quickly

Forgot to add in the ingredients that we added a good pinch of salt and that the ice was pulverised by adding it in 2 or 3 goes
