Recipe's preparation
1. Crush biscuits for 2 Seconds, speed 4-6 and set aside.
2. Use turbo to crush clinkers until they are broken up, but not too small, as you want to see the colours in the slice. Set aside with the biscuits.
3. Add butter and condensed milk to thermomix bowl for 2 minutes, 60 degrees on speed 2.
4. Add the biscuits and clinkers to TM bowl on reverse , speed 4 until mix is combined.
5. Put mix into slice tin and press flat. Clean thermomix bowl and dry to ensure no water remains.
6. When mix is cool, melt chocolate in TM bowl for 2 minutes, 50 degrees on speed 3. Pour over the clinker base, spread thinly across the top.
7. Place into fridge until set. Cut into squares and enjoy.

Tip
The top layer of chocolate is meant to be spread quite thin. You may like to melt more chocolate (a full block) if you like it thicker.
I like to double the recipe to use up the full can of condensed milk and large block of chocolate.

I'm yet to make this in my thermomix, however this recipe is a family favourite. I sub the clinkers for other lollies such as bananas, malteasers, raspberries and peppermint crisp bars. As other have mentioned, I put more chocolate on top. Thanks for the conversion of a family favourite!

Tastes wonderful! I accidentally chopped the clinkers too fine and I think it needs 200g chocolate on the top as it was hard to spread over all of it.

Yummy. I accidently chopped up the pieces too small in clinkers but still tasted good. Thanks.

Soooooooo good! My whole family loved them and I keep getting asked to make more. I made a rocky road hot chocolate for my hubby just using the leftover chocolate that was in the bowl. He said it was the best hot chocolate he had ever had and constantly talks about it. Thanks!

I use to make this prior to the addition of the thermomix to our family and I can not believe how much easier and tidier my kitchen is after making it this way. Thank you for sharing
This is a hit in our family.
This is a hit in our family. I have made it numerous times with clinkers & also made it with subbing clinkers with maltesers. Try it - simply devine. I use a whole block of milk chocolate for the top as we like a thicker, hard choc top - personal preference however. Doesn't last long in our house so I sometimes make a double batch. This slice can be frozen too. Thanks so much for the share of this recipe.
Made these for our kindy
Made these for our kindy mother day bake stall - should have made another batch. Kids loved being my little taste testers as well.
About to make these again for hubby's lunches

I tried this as the first
I tried this as the first recipe that i made in my new thermomix. I made a double batch but should have made it a normal batch twice to fit better in ther thermomix. It tastes great and was really easy to make.
So quick and easy and very,
So quick and easy and very, very yummy. I used a whole 200g block of chocolate for the top as a slight variation as I felt half a block (which is 100g) wasn't enough. Other than that, massive, massive winner! Will definitely make again and recommend to others.

I've just gotten around to
I've just gotten around to making this one. It's in the fridge now. It's so easy and I love that there is no baking involved. Just a suggestion on some edits though:
- given that clinkers now come in a family sized pack, it would be good to specify the grams. I doube checked and the smaller size is 180 grams.
- chocolate - half a block. I suspect you're going on the basis of a 250g block so 125g. Some blocks are now 200, 220 and occasionally you find brands that are 250g so might be good to put the required weight.
I can't wait to delight my work colleagues tomorrow.

Made this today for a birthday party & it was a hit!!! I couldn't believe how easy & delishous it was & with so few ingredients! I added small marshmallows on top for an extra treat! Thumbs up from me!

Yummo.... very easy. Next
Yummo.... very easy. Next time I'm going to try doubling the recipe but still only make it in one tin, so that I get a thicker slice, and cut it into smaller pieces. I reckon it needed a thicker layer of chocolate on top, but then again Cadbury seem to have reduced the weight of their blocks of chocolate, so half a block now is probably less than the half a block in the recipe.
This is the third recipe I
This is the third recipe I have made in my new Thermomix and definately the most successful. Delicous, everyone who has tried it loves it and comes back for more. Thank you.

I made this yesterday and the kids LOVED it!!! My only query was crushing the biscuits for 2 seconds? I did mine for about 20 seconds until they were all crushed, I wonder if this was a typo...... I also spread it with chocolate icing for something different but will try the chocolate next time I make it!!

Delicious! was one of the first recepies that i made with my Thermo and couldn't believe how easy the whole melting chocolate part was. I'll never go back to the double glass bowl on the stove, top bowl not touching the water every again! I now make double batches as it never lasts long enough in my house
