  • 200 grams Quinoa
  • small bunchof parsley
  • two tomatoes deseeded
  • 700 grams water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place Quinoa in steaming basket and rinse quickly under cold water.

    Add water to TM bowl, place basket into water and cook for 18minutes at 100 degrees on speed 4.

    Once cooked place in a bowl and allow to cool.

    Cut tomatoes in half( depending on size) add parsely to TM bowl and set dial to closed lid position and pulse on turbo for 2-3 seconds.

    Add this mixture to cool Quinoa and dress with olive oil , juice of one lemon, salt and pepper to taste and toss.

    Really perfect quinoa!! I kept a bowl under basket whilest rinsing then tipped fallen quinoa back into basket, so easy! No guess work. Cheers!

    I know you posted the query a really long time ago - but you can reduce the number of quinoa falling through the holes!  However, you need to soak the quinoa for a few hours - so a little more time is required. Once soaked the grain swells and makes them a bit bigger so they don't fall through. They are better for your digestion that way also.  Hope you are still using quinoa!

    add some baby spinach or rocket, some chopped roasted almonds, some fetta cheese and some dried cranberries and oohhh Yummy!! I do this type of thing all the time, and love it!!
