Potato Bake
- 80 gram cheese, cubed
- 1 brown onion, Sliced
- 2 clove garlic
- 4 Rashers streaky bacon, cut to your liking
- 30 gram Butter
- 600 gram potato, Sliced 0.5mm thick
- 200 gram sour cream
- 1 tbsp vegetable stock concentrate
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 210 degrees
Grate cheese, 3-5 seconds, Speed 8 – set aside
Chop garlic 3 seconds speed 8
Add sliced onion, bacon & butter to garlic & cook 3mins,
100 degrees, reverse, Speed 1.
Add all remaining ingredients (except cheese) & cook,
15-20mins, 100 degrees, reverse, Speed "Gentle stir setting" , until
potato is soft but not breaking up.
Pour mixture into oven safe dish, sprinkle with cheese & bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is golden.

Tip
Leek can be used in place of onion.
Normal bacon can be used in place of streaky.
If you are sensitive to the taste of salt, perhaps use less stock concentrate.

It's the only one i make now but the recipe being all jumbled up hurts my eyes and makes me think im going to mess it up haha so i've written it again below if anyone else has the trouble i have.
RECIPE'S PREPARATION
Method

This didn’t fail to impress. Family all loved it. Will be my go to recipe for Potato Bake from now. I used leeks instead of onion and added whole grain mustard as someone else suggested with a mix of sweet potato and white potato, slicing about 3/8”, bit thicker than recipe suggested.

I made this with potato, sweet potato cut a little thicker and pumpkin cut thicker again and cooked for 15mins. Think it could have done with 12 mins. Also added a tsp of thermie mustard. Then a sprinkle of goat feta at the end. Such a tasty and easy dish. Thanks heaps.

I made this again for the upteeteenth time and tonight I through caution to the wind, honestly I am sure the garlic QTY is a suggestion? Well I took it as one, I added about 6 (I lost count) and added 750g of potato.
I didnt add extra sour cream, well not really only what was left on the spoon so 220g of sour cream went in and the family LOVED it as per usual, only difference was I knew how good it was going to be and called dips on the left overs first :d

Best potato bake I have ever made! Won’t ever use one of those ‘premix packets’ or make my own versions again. Always use cream or milk with own recipes, but the sour cream made this one great and didn’t split when hot. Looking forward to adapting by taking out bacon, adding seeded mustard etc. just for variation and as a side dish to different meals. Just need to check potatoes don’t over cook as it could turn to mush quite easily. Definitely 5 stars

Delicious! I am caravanning and made this tonight (New Years) for dinner. Cooked as per instructions in thermie and then finished in the Webber. I used 900g of potato and a mix of sour cream and Greek yoghurt. I also didn’t add the bacon, I added leftover Xmas ham with the cheese on top.
