Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 200'C.
Place psyllium husks into TM bowl and grind 1 min, speed 10.
Add dry ingredients: coconut flour, chia seeds, linseeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut sugar, baking powder and salt, into TM bowl and mix 10 secs, speed 6.
Working quickly add wet ingredients: eggs, coconut oil and weigh in water; mix 15 secs, speed 7.
Knead dough 2 mins, "Dough mode"
Turn out dough onto Thermomat and carefully roll into a log. Sprinkle Thermomat with sesame seeds and roll log onto seeds. Using your Spatula, cut as many pieces as you like (I usually do 10-12 rolls).
Shape into balls or rolls and place onto a baking paper lined tray and bake 20-30 minutes (depends on size of roll - 20 mins for small; 25 minutes for 10 rolls etc).
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before cutting. They are super soft. Enjoy.

Tip
You can easily adjust what seeds you prefer in this recipe. Sometimes I don't have sunflower seeds so I increase linseeds to 50g (as an example).

AMAZING BREAD ROLLS...
AMAZING BREAD ROLLS
made these rolls today. I did the 10 rolls. My husband and I had two each and found that they were quite filling, so tomorrow we will have one and a half each.
They were very quick and easy to whip up and from now on, that's the only bread I'll eat.
Thanks Julify for a great recipe.

This is an awesome recipe. I do have a question though. Sometimes I have part of a batch ( never all of them - I make 12 rolls per batch ) turn out very dense. Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a solution to this? I make them every week and they last 5 days refrigerated. Thanks.

i haven't made these in ages but my kids didn't want to go to the shops to get some bread rolls so I made these instead. It took me 20 minutes tops- much quicker than a trip to the shops and so much healthier too

Just came across this recipe on FB, immediately tried it out last night without finish reading all the comments....I made a loaf instead of rolls....total failure. I followed exactly what was stated in the recipe. The skin got separated from the bread. The skin is nice but the bread remained soggy and hard. Like a piece of hard cheese.
I am going to give it a try again this weekend...definitely rolls. wish me luck!
oh boy lovely soft healthy rolls - perfect!

I have made these twice now and they turned out well. First time was as per recipe, but I found them a bit too coconutty. Second time I used 15g olive oil instead of coconut oil and they turned out just as good! Another thing was second time around I made the dough in the morning and rolled it into a glad wrap log and then unwrapped it that evening, cut sections and baked it. It seemed a bit easier to work with.

As everyone keeps saying, these ARE so soft and yummy - my 5 year old is stoked because I keep giving him 'wheat free' bread (i.e spelt, kamut etc) and they get hard quickly.
Mine took quite a bit longer to cook - like, an extra 17 minutes - but then my oven is not great. Mine also sagged a bit so they look kinda sad but they still taste great
Next time I'll be researching how people have successfully made it into a loaf, I know I read some comments that it has been tried.
Thanks so much for such a great recipe!!

These also make fantastic low-carb crackers for cheese and dips.
I make them in a mini loaf tin and freeze them. Once frozen they slice thinly to make squares which I then bake in the oven until crisp. They last ages in an airtight container too.
I've had people go nuts for the crackers and can't believe what's in them when I go through the ingredients.
So moorish.

I didnt mind these at all. I was looking for something "grainy" & came across this. They are supersoft (even once thawed out after freezing). I found they have a very coconutty taste (which is fine). Mine ended up little rolls, but they make nice little snacks for work.
Cheers

I'll have to try this one, but I think I'd sub out some of the psyllium for almond meal.

I don't know where I went
I don't know where I went wrong!! These rolls have such great reviews so I was excited to try but after 50 minutes in the oven they are still wet inside (they look great on the outside though) and look and taste like glue on the insides... I've put them back in again on a lower temperature so they won't burn but they just don't seem to want to cook in the middle and taste awful... I don't have fails with recipes very often but this one flopped for me, I wish I knew why

HI! Did you make this recipe
HI! Did you make this recipe into a loaf or rolls? Paleo/grainfree bread generally won't work as a loaf, unless stated otherwise. i've tried and failed many times! I encourage you to try this again, but as rolls. Good luck!
Anyone given these rolls to
Anyone given these rolls to their babies. Mine are 10 1/2 months old but I dont want them to blow up from all the psyllium husks.
P.S, mine were delicious although the ones on the bottom shelf went flat
I tried making this recipe
I tried making this recipe into a loaf and it was a complete flop! Cooked it for 1 hour 10 minutes and even though it looked good in the oven, the loaf completely sank in the middle and was doughy in the middle out the oven. Threw it in the bin! Very disappointed!
HI Mezbez, Quite a few Thermo
HI Mezbez, Quite a few Thermo owners are wanting to make the "Paleo Soft Rolls" into a loaf and you have successfully done this. Can you please post what size loaf tin you used? Did you still cook the loaf at 200 degrees traditional oven? Did you increase the size of the recipe for the loaf? Would greatly appreciate your advice because the loaf hasn't worked for other Thermo users.
These rolls are fantastic!
These rolls are fantastic! They have become our best recipe for gluten free & yeast free bread but I also wish there was a way of making them into a loaf. Can Julify the inventer of the recipe please help work out how to convert these to a loaf? Also wondering if Julify has any other Paleo recipes beause I'd love her to post them.

Has anyone had any luck with converting this recipe to a loaf?
I have had 2 failures with
I have had 2 failures with these rolls same as you the problem is you need to leave them for 25 minutes do not open the oven if they are undercooked and you take them out and them put them back in again they will be yuk. I love these rolls I make them every fortnight then freeze them. So the tip is cook longer and when you open the oven after 25 min tap the top and it should be slightly hard then there good to go. Happy Baking
I had never tried a Paleo
I had never tried a Paleo recipe before & I tested these a few times for my new friend, Rose and they have turned out great each time. I found making a quick log of the dough in the thermomat was a great way to have a great even log shape to evenly slice the dough. Little effort was needed to slice it into equal portions; a quick roll of each & then popped into the oven. Yum Thank you.
I am experimenting with
I am experimenting with making one big loaf. Have one in the oven now. Doing 180degrees for 90 minutes. 200 degrees for 75 minutes burnt the top but was not quite cooked through.
