Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
I prefer my salsa mild. If you like yours with a bit more bite, increase the chilli and/or jalapeno.
My local supermarket doesn't have fresh jalapenos so I used about 10 pieces of the jar ones.
Goes well with Macro organic corn chips, Mission original tortilla strips or Coles organic corn chips

Sorry, I just saw your question. A microbiologist I know suggested about a week but it hasn't been officially tested to confirm that. I've kept it for that long and it's been fine.

Fantastic, and EASY. Next time I will use more chili and spice, a bit bland, but, softened the heat of the shredded beef taco so was perfect for what we wanted. I also used apple cider vinegar, as I had more of that, but, it worked really well, a bit more sweet. Thank you soo much. As per previous comment, I will never buy salsa again.
Note to self, 1 can tomatoes = 750ml & tasty ingredients as above = Delicious 👏
