Tip
you could leave out the rice step, but the beef tastes much nicer after marinating for around 10 min.

Tasty but, as suggested by
Tasty but, as suggested by other reviewers, I reduced the beef cooking time by 2 minutes. Also my broccoli was a bit broken up (not very pretty) so next time I think I will do the veges in the Varoma.

I started this in the TM and finished on stove in wok while I made the rice.

Hubby likes this rice as a salad for lunch the next day so saved time. The only way I can get him to eat brown rice as well!
As others have said a good way to learn about stirfry in the TM. Thanks for the recipe. I didn't make any changes to the recipe first time around.

Very tasty & easy! Husband & kids (4&2) loved it.
Have saved this one for use in the near future.. it's a great base for a stir fry. Will add more variety of veggies next time & throw in some chilli for a kick
Enjoyable beef stir fry. As
Enjoyable beef stir fry. As per comments, I reduced the cooking time of the beef to 3mins (on both occasions). Next time, I'll try 2.5mins as some pieces were still overdone. I added extra vegetables including a capsicum and 3 carrots. The sauce flavours were excellent. Will make again.
This was lovely. We added
This was lovely. We added the 'broth' from the steak after it had been in the thermomix and added it to the rice wine vinegar liquid with some tapioca flour (1 tbs). Extra flavour!
Made this last night and it

Thanks Shannon - this worked
Thanks Shannon - this worked great, totally stoked
I made some adjustments for my diet - paleo.
replaced cornstarch with arrowroot, sugar with coconut sugar, oyster sauce with coconut aminos + fish sauce
I added garlic, carrot, capsicum, pak choy, celery and sambal oelek.
Here's a pic
I made this a little quicker
I made this a little quicker by starting the rice first. While it was cooking, I weighed the sauce ingredients in a bowl sitting on top of the thermy. A quick whisk, add the beef, cover, and place in the fridge. 20mins gave me enough time to prepare the veggies and ginger for adding later.I will say that I was hoping for a thicker sauce. I may add a little more cornflour next time. I would also double the amount of ginger (personal taste), and perhaps a bit more oyster sauce (again, personal taste).
This is a good recipe from which to learn about cooking stir fry in the thermy, though

Yum and 3yo loved the sauce.
Yum and 3yo loved the sauce. I added one chilli deseeded and loads of veggies. Meat was overdone so will only 1/2 precook meat next time and might try to use varoma for steaming veggies to speed it up as also found it quite lengthy from start to finish.
This was a very easy and
This was a very easy and tasty thermomix 'stir-fry' I also added carrot with the broccoli and then capsicum when I added the spring onion. I then topped with fresh chilli for me and hubby. Thanks for the recipe
I really enjoyed the flavour
I really enjoyed the flavour of the sauce. Fresh ginger is the best! I took a lot longer than 28 mins though. Didn't have game face on, so will power it next time -also added capsicum, pak choy and carrot

I added lots more veggies. Carrot, snow peas, zucchini and capsicum. I cooked the extras with the broccoli at Varoma speec for six minutes as per instructions (just added a minute). Veggies were cooked nicely.
Loved this and have lots of leftovers for meals to come. Will try a hit of chilli next time.
Thank you for sharing such a delicious recipe.
Delicious & enjoyed by all. I
Delicious & enjoyed by all. I added snow peas & zucchini batons and they worked well too. Be sure to spoon the sauce over your rice - it is very tasty!
Thank you for posting
The whole family loved this.
The whole family loved this. I made it with brown rice and it was delicious.
I have always steered away
I have always steered away from doing a stir fry in the thermomix as I thought it wouldn't turn out very well, but I was super impressed with this meal. The meat was tender and the sauce had a great taste. I added other veg such as sugar snap peas, baby corn and zuchinni. It was great and will definately make again.
