I made this and absolutely loved it. Didn't put the broccoli in but still did the cooking time which , when I added all the ingredients, was quite thick.

I love it. I just added a little less water a little more flour and used speed 2 for the last 4 minutes of cooking, salt and pepper and perfect!

I don't find it fiddley at all, it means I clean as I go in between steps,

It was yummy - but agree with the others that it may have been easier on the stove.

The bottom of my bowl got burnt as well tmrc_emoticons.(

I added chicken and zucchini, and I reduced the water to 175g but it was also a bit too runny.

    Will try again though tmrc_emoticons.)

    Submitted by Kirrilly on 29. April 2014 - 18:48.

This was yummy but a LOT of messing around. I felt like it might have been easier on the stove!. Maybe you've discovered short-cuts for the recipe now?

It also burnt my bowl. I think that was from sauteing the mushies so long. I would suggest doing them with the bacon, setting aside in the ThermoServer, then doing the onions and continuing on.

I added another egg near the end of cooking to thicken it, but think it needs less water??

  • Made this one tonight and it

    Submitted by elzerk on 2. April 2014 - 20:57.

Made this one tonight and it was yummy.. I added some garlic cloves & left out the mushrooms as I don't like them. I used skim milk and it worked quite well. It thickened up enough for me, the pasta soaks up the sauce anyway.

I am wondering if people are using the scales in the TM to measure the 20g of flour or just thinking that 1 tablespoon = 20g? I used the TM scales and it was about 3 tablespoons of flour =20g. Might help with the thickening.

Oh, I added some cooked chicken too!!! Awesome...

  • This was definitely a family

    Submitted by Bree M on 28. February 2014 - 09:09.

This was definitely a family favourite - everyone loved it. After reading the comments here I reduced the water in the first section to 100g and my sauce was perfect and not runny at all. We did add the broccoli but I think I will leave it out next time.

    Submitted by SharonW on 5. February 2014 - 19:10.

I just made this for the first time tonight and as per other comments, I did find the sauce quite runny. However, the overall flavour was beautiful so I might try it again with maybe cornflour instead of flour and less water at step 9. Definately worth a second attempt

Made this tonight and the flavour of the sauce was great but also found it runny, is the cup of water added at 9 (Sauce - 5) necessary? Will try again without that step and see how it goes. Otherwise really good easy recipe thanks! tmrc_emoticons.) tmrc_emoticons.)
