      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. * Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Tip

You can add alot more chicken if you want to cook for 6-8 people, just make sure it is close to completely cooked before placing in oven (depends on the size you cut you pieces).

I just crush the cornflakes in my hand as I'm sprinkling but you can use bread crumbs instead

Substitute for veggie stock paste if you don't have chicken

Thanks for the recipe! I used it as a guide tonight for an all in one pasta. I did the butter and garlic first as per the recipe and then put in all the sauce ingredients, some chicken thighs & the remaining half pack of penne I had into the bowl and cooked it all together. Not quite what you intended with the recipe but its a handy option if anyone needs a delicious chicken pasta with hardly any effort or dishes!

    Really tasty
I used left over roast chicken and added some steamed veggies (put them in the varoma for the second 10min cook) and it turned out really well. Was demolished by the 4 year olds!

We used left over BBQ chicken and bread crumbs for the topping. The sauce did start to boil over so I kept the MC off for the rest of cooking time. It was a huge hit in our family. Better than I expected. Thank you!

The flavour was quite nice but the chicken didnt cook so had to cook for an extra 5 mins, then when I poured the sauce out, the cheese was a big burnt mess at the bottom of the bowl. I managed to scrape most our leaving behind the burnt bits. The sauce didnt thicken either (Im guessing because the cheese was all at the bottom not mixed through.)
    Sad Thumbs down sorry

Nice flavour but not sure what went wrong, the chicken didn't cook in the steamer (it was cut small and I only used the amount suggested) and the sauce was very runny.

Love this!  Made with leftover bbq chicken, light evaporated milk instead of cream and veggie stock paste, but still turned out awesome!

  • This went down really well

    Submitted by cathi969 on 26. February 2015 - 20:10.

This went down really well with my hungry lads. I put bacon through mine and the crumb on top was bread crumbs (made in the thermy) mixed with cheese (grated in the thermy with the bread crumbs). Delish.

    A winner!

I added onion, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots.  Worked out well. I though it was a bit runny, but once it came out of the oven it was perfect!!

I can't see where you cook the chicken that is in the aroma tray.  Is this step missed? - thanks.

  • Tried this on my super fussy

    Submitted by Mcjimster on 20. December 2014 - 21:13.

Tried this on my super fussy 6yr old....another hit...he even went back for seconds....I didn't have bread crumbs or corn flakes so added grated cheese to the top..

Also found sauce frothed up and spilled out under mc at the 8 min mark in step 4..

in step 5, I put varoma (with chick pieces cut up small) on top of tmx, so when sauce frothed up, the chick absorbed some of the sauce in which it cooked.. Super yummy.
