Love this recipe. The rice isn't completely cooked when you put it in the thermo sever but after the 10 mins, the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is perfect. I added chilli, olives and lemon wedges. Perfect 👌🏾

This is really nice. I was surprised that leaving the rice to sit caused it to absorb so much liquid as I thought I would have to cook it for longer. I think adding a splash of wine like another comment suggested would really add to the flavour.

It took forever to cook and the rice took a lot longer than recommended and in the end it was very flavourless.

I made this tonight and added a splosh of white wine and a handful of chopped parsley. The flavours are delicious. I made this the same way I cook risotto. I cooked the chicken and set aside, then sautéed the onion and capsicum, before putting the butterfly in and adding the rice and wet ingredients. Thanks for sharing, even my fussy eater gobbled it up!

I suspect you didn't let the rice sit in the Thermoserver for ten minutes or so after cooking. Also I can't understand why the chicken didn't cook. I just made this and it turned out perfectly. I did add a little oil though. Good luck next time!
I tried it last night... rice
I tried it last night... rice wasn't cooked after first 14 minutes, so i cooked it for another 5 and still not cooked properly... Also i had to cook the chicken for about 10 minutes, as a lot of it was still raw, and it got stuck to pot, should i use oil or something? Any suggestions to improve either of these? I'm a thermo newbie.
Flavours were great though.

Flavours were delicious, but i too had add extra cooking time for the rice, an extra 10 minutes. When everything was in the bowl and cooking it sounded like there was too much in there and i worried about machine fatigue.

Thank you for your feedback
Thank you for your feedback Ginny. After re-testing I have reduced the amount of rice, however did not require any adidtional cooking time. I have amended the recipe above.

Love the flavours however
Love the flavours however there was far too much rice. The rice was not cooked after 15 minutes and I cooked for an extra 12. May I suggest 300g arborio? The family loved the flavours. Thanks for a great recipe
