Delish! Thanks for sharing. I doubled the mushrooms, blitzed zucchini and added a tbsp of vegeta (my cheat version of vegetable stock concentrate) and my husband has requested this dish be weekly.
It was ok, kids loved it though.

Hi
Has Anybody tried freezing the sauce
Thanks
Yum yum yum, I added
Yum yum yum, I added cauliflower and sweetcorn to the sauce and made up the cream amount with some left over sourcream. I might try it with chicken and half the bacon next time as was suggested above. I cooked 500grms of fettutini which filled up my thermoserver so I could not add the sauce as there was no room. I also stired an egg.through the pasta and added spinach. When the sauce was ready I mixed it all together in a large bowl and served immediately.
This was really yum! I added
This was really yum! I added extra garlic, cream and more vegetables, carrot and zucchini and omitted the Parmesan and parsley as I didn't have any. Will use this as a recipe base again - thanks!

unfortunately this sauce just became rich (delicious) clumps over the pasta. Some great flavours, but generous additions of cream, butter & cheese does that to anything! No egg either? I'll keep looking for a Thermomix Carbonara.. any tips on the (rich, rich, rich) sauce not clumping? I did enjoy the strong parsely flavour.....
Oh my god...yum! I didn't
Oh my god...yum! I didn't have any mushrooms so just put extra broccoli in. Other than that followed the recipe as is (in a TM5) and it turned out perfectly. The sauce does look really runny when you first see it but after you pour it over the fettucine and it cools down a little (as you plate up) it's just right.
Bacon substituted with hot
Bacon substituted with hot salami, added chicken and left over roast vege, 500ml cream plus 3/4 c lite milk

Really nice. The kids loved it! I added an onion, carrot and zucchini. Will definitely make it again. I might try adding chicken next time.
Great job! Really tasty.
Great job! Really tasty. Changes I made was to add 1 small onion & a couple of extra cloves of garlic, then 2 chicken thigh fillets in with the bacon step but halved the bacon. A little extra broccoli, & additional sugar snap peas, along with the mushroom. Then I stirred through an egg once I'd put it in the thermoserver. I would have added baby spinach to the base of the thermoserver had I of had some in the fridge. EVERYBODY LOVED IT! Thanks!
Really really tasty! I agree
Really really tasty! I agree with comments that the sauce was a too runny so i added some cornflour. I had to then de-glug it on the stove top. But that was user impatience / error, not the recipe's fault! Defo one to remake!
Great recipe! Love that
Great recipe! Love that there is no egg thanks
Loved it! Just like I make on
Loved it! Just like I make on the stove. I used Philly light cooking cream with 60% less fat instead, 200g mushrooms and cornflour to thicken at end. Plus put baby spinach in thermo server with fettuccine and stirred through....delicious!

Very nice.
I used 65g of butter, 2 cloves of garlic, 200ml sour cream and 200ml cream, teaspoon of seeded mustard and 1 spring onion finely chopped. I added the seeded mustard and spring onion with the bacon and butter. Or you can add the spring onion and chop with the garlic.
After cooking the cream, mushrooms etc, I then added another 2mins 30secs onto the time (still at 100 degrees, reverse, speed1) and added a lightly beaten egg through the hole on the lid with mc removed.
I didn't put my pot of water on until the step to cook my bacon, that way while pasta is finishing cooking, the sauce is standing and thickening.
so very good but only use
so very good but only use half butter and half cream next time, yummmmmy

Easy recipe which was liked
Easy recipe which was liked by both kids and adults, not too heavy on the cream or chees as some carbonraras can be. I made it very quickly and threw in the chopped bacon without seperating the pieces and they cooked in big chunks, next time I'll be sure to seperate them which will make it even better! Thanks
This was beautiful! I might
