Recipe's preparation
Add the eggs to a clean tmx bowl
wish the eggs for 5 seconds/speed 5
Add the flour & salt
Mix for 5 seconds/speed 5
Then knead for 3 minutes until combined (3 mins/"Closed lid" "Dough mode" )
Pour dough out onto a thermomat or floured bench knead by hand until smooth (about 10 times)
Allow the dough to rest for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Picture is of the dough once rested,
Once the dough had rested you can roll it using a pasta machine or alternately roll out using a rolling pin or anything cylinder on your thermomat/bench.
Once your dough is about 1mm thick you can cut into spaghetti/fettuccine/ ravioli etc.
DO NOT USE A KNIFE ON YOUR THERMOMAT EVER… you can use your tmx spatula
Whilst you are making your pasta into spaghetti etc
Place 1200g of water into your tmx bowl & add a dash of oil to stop the pasta sticking together. Boil the water 10 mins/varoma/speed 2
Once water has boiled & you are ready to cook your pasta add it to the boiling water & cook for 8 minutes/varoma/"Gentle stir setting"
The cook time varies on the thickness of your pasta. When it starts to float it is cooked.

Really not good. Came out like sand and WOULD NOT come together even after 10 mins of kneeding. I ended up putting in oil and water to get it to come together. There are better receipies out there for pasta in one step...

I was really worried about the dough when it came out of the thermo, it was very crumbly like sand. I put two tablespoons of oil and one tablespoon of water and it came out perfect. I used this for Lentil Bolognese Lasagna and rolled to number 6 on my Macarto pasta machine. It was perfect.

Thanks for this recipe - mine looks great but tastes a bit "chewy". What am I doing wrong? Could it be that it's a bit undercooked or should I be using a 00 flour? Thanks for your help re this - I'm a newby pasta maker

Was so happy to find a thermomix pasta recipe. I wasn't sure when I first took the mixture at of the bowl as it looked crumbly but once I kneaded it with my hands it all came together well. I rolled it flat & cut it into little squares to have with soup and my family loved it. Will be making this again soon & will try fettuccini.
So simple to make me
So simple to make me delicious. After a failed attempt at the TBC pasta dough this was a great recipe to find! Made enough for about 20 large ravioli and 4 serves of fettuccine. This will now be my go to pasta recipe

Great recipe!! Very easy pasta dough to work with!!
sounds good but thing you
sounds good but thing you need to expand your method a little. you should really have the tip about airing / seperating the pasta in the recipe method itself. it looks like you can just make, rest, cut it up and then boil it. how long does it need to air before you can cook it. I have no idea myself how dry etc it need to be. very easy step to miss if you have not read the comments which I often do not.
thanks for the tip about smaller batches.
Will totally have to try this
Will totally have to try this out! If I don't use all the pasta what is the best way to store it? Will it keep well?
