Tip

When you take them out of the oven, the top should be slightly brown, sides will be white and top will be hard. the longer you leave it there to cool, the softer the bread will become.

Remember it is flour, so if you turn the dial up to a high speed, you will get it all stuck on the lid, if you do it slowly you shouldnt have anything on the lid.

I prefer to shape my 8 rolls like small hotdog rolls. They are easier to eat.

After the absolute rave reviews I expected these to be standout butI even though the flavour was good they were a bit doughy even after 5mins of kneading.not sure why? Will try again.

Made these twice now, second time had to cook slightly longer. Both times the rolls turned out great. Fantastic with homemade soup

G'day and great rolls! A definate keeper recipe for me!Thank you for sharing it!Cheers! Joanne

There are 7 grams in a sachet of yeast Smile

These were the first bread rolls I attempted with my new tmx... Worked perfectly and I have baked them 3 time in 2 days!

Perfect every time. These rolls are always amazing!

This recipe is perfect every time. The only thing I do differently is that I knead it for 5-6 minutes which I have found makes the rolls more fluffier. In addition I have started preparing earlier so i can give it to 30 minute - 60 minute rises before putting it in the oven.

The other night after proofing for 2 * 1 hour sets, then rolled the dough out and spread garlic butter and parmesan cheese on it, rolled it up and baked it. The most amazing garlic bread ever.

I have made these two days in a row. Day one perfect, day two the dough didn't rise. Followed the same steps. Second batch in the oven atm 10 mins to go still not rising...... Not sure what happened. Yummy and quick. Will try again another day.

Love love love this recipe. Works really well (and is so yummy) with wholemeal breadflour also.

I love these rolls and make them all the time! I often mill whatever seeds I have (eg pepita, sunflower, chia, or oat bran) and replace around 100g of the flour with the seed mix. It makes the dough a little 'wetter' but they still rise and are yummy and soft!  I sit the dough over a warm water bath to rise and I do cook them a little longer than the recipe says. My kids LOVE them and gobble them up.  One batch rarely lasts more than a day in our house!

Appropiately named. The bestest.

Yummy rolls Smile My dough didn't rise as much as it should have but I made it on a very cold day so my kitchen was chilly. Next time hopefully it'll be a lot warmer or I'll have more time to get a warm spot sorted! The rolls still cooked really well & turned out fine so I'll be making these again.

Very nice, quick & easy. I knead for double the time & leave for 15-20 min before knocking back & putting into cold oven. Also cook for 25-30 mins. Perfect every time.

Really easy and turned out perfectly.  I sat the covered bowl of dough over a bowl of warm water to ensure it rose in this cooler weather.  Easily doubled in 15 mins.  I also heated the water to 37 in thermie prior to adding the ingredients to make sure it was a good temp.  Needed to cook a little longer but were great and still quick from start to finish.  Thank you for the recipe.

There are the "bestest" and the "worstest"!  Unfortunately these were the latter.  Not soft, didn't hardly rise.  Quite doughey.  I think they were a failure as the day was very cold and they didn't rise enough the first time and then just sat there like lumps in the oven.

I will give these another try and hopefully I get the success that the other comments seem to have.

First attempt at any type of bread. Not too bad will definitely try again and make sure I put the salt in this time. Oops!

Soft and delicious. Mine never achieved a brown top despite being cooked throughout. Nice and well received at a dinner party.

These were so easy to make and so soft and yummy

Perfect. I also needed to cook mine for about ten minutes longer (cooking at 180deg fan forced), and they were delicious. Nice crust, beautiful moist interior, wonderful taste.

For only my four time making bread it was an excellent win Smile

I would put in the seeds before you start kneading or you can just sprinkle the seeds on the top prior to baking!

We live to eat, and eat to live, but with Thermomix we just LIVE!

As a very new Thermie User (2nd time making bread!) this recipe is a winner! I twraked it slightly-I put in water, yeast, raw sugar & plain flour (qtys as per recipe) But did add the slag AFTER the flour. I then added olive oul (as per recipe), 3 tsp bakers flour (because I used plain flour) and threw in 1tsp bread improver.  I then followed the TMX kneading times. To a tee, rested it for 20 mins in thermosetver  sitting on a heatpCk then heated heat pack again abd put on top of thermosetver for another ten mins. I then divided into 8, spribjled half with grated cheese and baked (from

a cold oven) for 20 mins. Holy cow-I've eaten 2 already Shock This will def be my GO TO recipe ... I never normally tweak recipes until they are tried and true.... These are flippin  winners!!!

ive had 2 normal ones-will let you know if the cheese zones are duds (I doubt it!( otherwise? It's cheese & bacon rolls next! X

NB: one sachet of yeast is 7g (a bit hard to measure with Hermie)

Fantastic and easy bread rolls.  They are the bestest!

I am new to Thermomix. These rolls were fantastic and loved by all. First time making them. Best ever rolls for sure Smile. Just wondering if I can add seeds to the mix and if so when is a good time??

I am loving these bread rolls!!! They are so easy to make and taste so yummy! I find if I leave the dough to rise for a bit longer, they get really light & fluffy inside but they're still yum to make as per the recipe when I'm short on time. Thank you so much for sharing!!  Big smile

Ps I also added bread improver. Smile

:)these are cooking at the moment and smell Devine! They also look amazing, made six instead of eight as I have grown men to feed and they like bigger rolls. Almost ready and looking gorgeous, thank you vivilee  Smile

Quick and easy recipe. Love the texture and how well they rise as a pullapart bread.

I start by heating water in TMX at 37C. It did take longer to rise to double the size but easy to work with. Also took longer to cook in oven. Might just be my oven but it is fairly new. Will use higher temperature next time.

Mine tasted a little doughy/floury. Is this normal? Can't taste this when add butter to it though.

Will make again.
