Tip

When you take them out of the oven, the top should be slightly brown, sides will be white and top will be hard. the longer you leave it there to cool, the softer the bread will become.Remember it is flour, so if you turn the dial up to a high speed, you will get it all stuck on the lid, if you do it slowly you shouldnt have anything on the lid.

I prefer to shape my 8 rolls like small hotdog rolls. They are easier to eat.

Mine were really quite heavy and not fluffy at all . Not sure what I did wrong but will use the remainder for bread crumbs I think. I wouldn't make these again

Mine came out a bit yeasty tasting - just used the one 7 sachet.  Any ideas?

Fantastic! Thank you for posting. I used White Wings Premium plane flour.

These are fantastic. i add 1tblsp chia seeds. Kids love them.

Worked brilliantly thank you!

I'm making this now, but I'm attempting larger, longer rolls (like the ones you get at subway) so I thought just make 4?

Can anyone clarify (maybe a dumb question) - 20 minutes total, including heat up time? Or 20 minutes once the oven gets to temperature? I've just put mine in a cold oven, turned the temp to 170 and set the timer for 20 minutes.

These we're amazing, easy and the whole family loved them

This was my second attempt at making bread rolls as my first attempt with another recipe failed i decided to give this one a go! it could not have been easier. i didnt use the bread improver as i didnt have any and they turned out perfectly!! i will be making these again and again. Thanks for the recipe !!

These were amazing and so simple to make. Will be a go to bread recipe for us now.

What a simple great easy recipe! Thank you for sharing.

I used home brand plain flour and Bakers flour with bread improver on another occasion, seem to have achieved same result.

on both occasions I've made these they are rather crumbly and not very fresh the next day, they crumble under the bread knife.

We prefer a fluffy roll still on the hunt for our perfect bread roll.

These are unbelievably good.  They definately are the bestest bread rolls ever.  They are a regular in our house.

Can you just us normal plain flour?

Very nice and I love how quick these are so they are perfect for last minute ideas.

Yum yum yum, put in 1 teaspoon of bread improver as wasn't sure how much to use and just guessed, don't know how these are without it but they turned out perfect. Am ashamed to say that the batch didn't even get a chance to cool down, we ate them all immediately- will have to double the mix next time!

These work every time!

Can you please add that the yeast is 1 tablespoon or 7g thanks for an amazing bread roll recipe

Super easy and they all disappeared before they cooled!!!

Added herb and garlic tomato paste and sprinkled with cheese on half of the batch and the kids thought they were fantastic Smile

First attempt in making bread rolls this was recommended to me. Used wholemeal flour so they were not so fluffy. I thought I did well seeing it was the first time. I think 'practice makes perfect'.

So quick, my husband was inpressed.

Thank you for sharing  Smile

add the improver...this will make them lighter and fluffier.

We live to eat, and eat to live, but with Thermomix we just LIVE!

Very quick and easy and they do taste good but a tad too dense for me! Will try to knead for longer next time I think.. Still on the quest for a fluffy soft and light bread roll recipe like in the shops  Glasses

Amazingly easy and yummy! A huge hit in our house of a family with 4 teenage/adult sons. They didn't make it to dinner as the boys seemed to inhale and the rolls disappeared  Smile . Note to self: make 2 or 3 batches each time! Thank you for sharing

My first ever bread attempt. Chose this one because ingredients were so simple and will be easy to always have on hand. Cannot believe how easy it was, and lovely and soft as well. Also got a nice brown top. I baked for 25 mins.

These are so easy to make and are often made when I have run out of bread. i make them with half wholemeal and they have come out great everytime. I do make 6 rolls and the kids have them for lunch. they freeze really well too.

Everyone seems to use this recipe to make their bread and rolls so I guess I'm going to have to give it a try! Ther more the merrier they say...
