Breakfast in a Glass
- 1 tbsp seeds of choice (linseed, pumpkin, sunflower)
- 35 g rolled oats
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 100 g ice cubes
- 3 dates (or prunes), pitted
- 1 banana
- 100 g plain yoghurt
- honey, to taste
- other spices, (cinnamon, allspice - optional)
Recipe's preparation
Place seeds, oats, vanilla bean and nutmeg into mixing bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 9.
Add ice and dates and mill 5 sec/speed 9.
Add remaining ingredients and mix 30 sec/speed 5 or until smooth.

It might be a good idea to
It might be a good idea to point out that the dates should be pitted - ground up date seeds are a bit hard on your teeth - I left a bit of date seed in once and it wasn't nice spread all through the mixture. Prunes would want to be seedless too.
