Ingredients

Chocolate Brownies
125 g dark chocolate
150 g butter
3 eggs
350 g sugar
1 tsp vanillia essence
20 g cocoa
130 g plain flour


Preparation

Chocolate Brownies

1.

Preheat oven at 160c.


Lined 20cm square tin with baking paper


1.     Chop Butter & Chocolate for 5 sec on speed 5, (scrape down the side)


2.     Melt Butter & Chocolate 2mins 60c on speed 1,


3.     Add eggs, sugar & vanilla essence, mix for 5 sec on speed 3 or 4,


4.     Add flour & coco and mix for 5 sec on speed 3 or 4,


5.     Pour mixture into a lined tin and bake it for 40-50mins


Tip

Do not over baked chocolate brownies; otherwise it will be very dry.


sugar contents can be reduced to 300g for a less sweeter brownies.

This recipe is really good. I have made it twice this past one week. First time the texture was a bit crumbly when cut but it was perfect the second time around. My boys love it so much!

I agree- the most scrummy brownies ever!! Made them for a friend's birthday and invited ourselves over for a coffee the next day and they were not on offer...and an order for the next birthday is in already!

I made these tonight and my

I made these tonight and my goodness, you should change the name to "Best Chocolate Brownies Ever".  My only advice is to constantly check during cooking process as my oven is hot so I set temp to 140 and they only took 25-30 mins.

Very successful - I doubled

Smile Very successful - I doubled and cooked less in fan forced oven - say about 40 mins at150c in  a lamington tin. Went for less cooking. Yum.
