  • A new family favourite for us

    Submitted by Kezza3212000 on 28. October 2014 - 12:10.

A new family favourite for us as well - it's hard trying to please all six of us but this one achieved just that!

So simple too, I needed it in a hurry so just cooked diced chicken breast in an electric frying pan, and poured the sauce over cooked chicken to simmer for a minute or two.  Yumm.

Instead of using peanut butter I ground down salted peanuts, while it was still chunky I filled up 3/4 of the mc with the crunchy bits, and made peanut paste from the left over in the jug.  I threw in a clove of garlic at this stage.

    Submitted by hato on 14. October 2013 - 11:09.

This is really yummy and was an instant hit with my fussy kids. I doubled all ingredients except the sweet chilli sauce (so as not too spicy for kids) and I thought that was exactly the right amount for 600g chicken thighs. As per another readers suggestion I chopped up leftovers and served with steamed rice and lettuce leaves. My daughter also had some chopped up leftovers in a sandwich the next day and loved it. Thank you!

  • I made these for the footy

    Submitted by beepa123 on 30. September 2013 - 15:25.

I made these for the footy grand finals - what a hit.  I used chicken 'nibbles' wings.  I made up the marinade and left them in the fridge overnight to marinade.  I also left the skin on.   There wasn't any left over to do anything with.

This was yummy. I think next time I will use a little more peanut butter to get some crunchy texture. I served with rice and steamed greens. Going to use the left overs for a chicken wrap but love the idea of that pizza by Sarah
