Ingredients


100 grams raw macadamia nuts
85 grams Raw Honey
50 grams dried cranberries
30 grams pepitas
30 grams sesame seeds
30 grams chia seeds
extra sesame and chia seeds to roll bites in


Preparation

1.

Place macadamias into mixing bowl and chop 2 sec/speed 5.

2.

Add remaining ingredients and combine 20 sec/counter-clockwise operation/speed 4


3.

Tip out mix into a flat dish with low sides and press flat, or roll into balls.

4.

Place in refrigerator to firm up. Approximately 20 mins.

5.

Cut into squares if not making balls.

6.

Roll in extra sesame seeds and/or chia seeds and serve.


Tip

Variations:
Substitute macadamias for cashews, or other nuts
Substitute dried cranberries for chopped dried figs, apricots or dates.
Substitute some of the seeds used for linseeds or sunflower seeds.
Toast mix lightly under a grill before refrigerating.
For a 'naughty' treat roll balls in some melted chocolate

Sounds delicious but can I

Sounds delicious but can I make it without using honey and perhaps using maple syrup as an alternative.  Allergy to honey in the family!   

This forum is just SO helpful - I'm just a newbie but am learning every day.

Wow - this is so yummy and easily adapted to suit what's in the pantry. Definitely cheaper than buying the equivalent from the supermarket!
