Ingredients

2 portion(s)

  • 30 g pepitas
  • 70 g almonds
  • 180 g ice cubes
  • 150 g spinach leaf, fresh, washed
  • 1 kale leaf, stalk removed
  • 20 g honey, to taste
  • 150 g water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place almonds and pepitas into the mixing bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 9

  2. Place remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix 30 sec/speed 8. Serve while cold.

    I like this the first time I made and it's certainly thick and filling. However I found it too sweet second time round and it reminds me of marzipan.

  • To get the most out of my

    To get the most out of my smoothie mix, once I've poured it all out , I cover the blades with fresh water/coconut water then rinse 5 sec / speed 5, repeat on Counter-clockwise operation,  repeat on Turbo and pour the liquid into an icecube tray to kickstart my next day's Green Smoothie or juice. Waste not, want not tmrc_emoticons.)

    Wow I am suprised at the protein content! That is excellent. I will be replacing some of the protein diet shakes I have been using to loose some weight with this "green dream". Its nice to know exactly what is in it! tmrc_emoticons.;)
