Tip

I like to pop the coconut in a zip-lock bag and place the balls in (maybe 6-8 at a time, or as many as you can fit with room to move), zip up, shake around and hey-presto- done! No need to worry about filling a bowl/plate with coconut and rolling one at a time!

OMGosh thank you thank you thank you! I usually HATE the taste of all things healthy but lurve my chocolate so decided reluctantly to give these a go. I followed the recipe except for a handful of dark choc chips because, you know, chocolate LOL Yummy yum yum. I will try omitting the choc chips next time and also replace the cocoa for cacao for a batch for comparison and an extra healthy version.

    Submitted by Mib8612 on 30. September 2015 - 14:11.

Excellent bliss balls. Top tip about using a plastic bag when coating them with coconut. As I used dried dates, another tip is to double check each date in case the stone hasn't been machinically removed (tip courtesy of The 4 Blades). Will make again.
