really delcious . Kids loved it. I didn't use any nuts and my chocolate bits didn't completely grind up either but it was great as choc chip. also had to blend an extra 20 secs.

This was delicious! I added a couple of spoons of cream too - so creamy! I did find that the choc chips (I used Cadbury choc chips) didn't grind up completely so it was like banana chocolate chip ice cream! Scrumptious

Needed some stirring with the spatula to get all the banana blended but such a quick, easy dessert that uses up those black bananas in my freezer!

Really easy and delicious recipe.  I cheated and substituted the carob chocolate for a couple of tablespoons of Nutella.  Really good tmrc_emoticons.)

Great idea! I used cashews instead of macadamias, left out the chocolate, and added frozen cubes of cream, honey and cinnamon. Great texture and tasted good.

    Submitted by France on 15. January 2014 - 00:10.

I didn't have macadamia, so I used almond flour, which is just blanched almonds all ground up.  It was really nice!

I too had to add cream, as my blades were struggling as well, and to make it more airy I did like for a sorbet, added an egg white and whipped with the butterfly. If someone tries this, don't overwhip or it goes flat again (mine did anyway!)

I used a dark chocolate bar, 78% cacao or something! Gave it a very grown up taste too!

    Hey Everyone,

I'm making a healthy apple crumble for a dinner party and was going to serve this 'icecream' with it.

Do you think I could make it earlier in the day and put it back in the freezer? I was thinking I could add one egg white to stop it from freezing all icy.  tmrc_emoticons.~
