Ingredients

Custard
200 grams Chocolate equivalent to 1 block
2 eggs
500 grams Milk of choice
2 heaped tablespoons Corn flour

Preparation

Custard

1.

Break chocolate into pieces and grind on speed 8 for 5-10 seconds.  Leave in bowl

Add remainder on ingredients and cook at 90 degrees for 6 mins on speed 4.

Tip

This is a great easy recipe for kids to make themselves.

Can use different types of chocolate blocks for variety, e.g - white choc, peppermint, caramello etc

Delicious served warm or cold - consistency is very similar to store bought chocolate yogo type desserts. Store in an air tight container in fridge for a few days (if it lasts that long)

Will thicken upon cooling, but you can cook for 1-2 mins longer for thicker consistency when hot.

I'm making my second batch in 3 days...an absolute winner. I cooked mine for 8minutes too! Thanks for the delicious recipe

I made this last night and did exactly as the recipe said.  It didn't reach the 90 degrees in the 6 minutes allocated.  It came out very runny which I thought would thicken up overnight in the fridge.  No luck.  I think I will try it again but leave it for a couple of extra minutes once it reaches the 90 degrees.

Yum. I found I had to give it

Yum. I found I had to give it an extra 2 mins cooking time though. Delicious cold the next day!

Yummy and super easy.

Oh my gosh the kids will be lucky to get any of this! It's delicious! I only had 1 egg and 2 egg whites and an extra 250g of milk I wanted to use up so I chucked all that in with 2 more tbspn of cornflour and cooked for 11 minutes...perfect!

Great, simple, effortless recipe which has been a big hit in my family. Not sure who loved it more though, the kids or the adults?!

(I also cooked for a minute more to get a thicker consistency which is perfect once cooled)

I also found it wasn't as

I also found it wasn't as thick when it was warm, but upon cooling it set to the thicker Yogo-consistency....

 Sooooo delicious!  I used

Sooooo delicious!  I used the 250g of milk choc but I reckon you could get away with the 200g size blocks they come in nowadays, as it had a little bit richer flavour than store bought Yogo. Our family of 3 devoured the lot in a couple of nights - looking forward to experimenting with some other flavours!   Cooking

I tried this recipe yesterday. Nicest custard I've had. I found it needed another minute or so cooking  to thicken up. A great recipe!
