  • This slice is the best mars bar slice I have ever...

    Submitted by Wongo on 23. August 2020 - 14:24.

This slice is the best mars bar slice I have ever made. It's not as rich as it has no honey or golden syrup in it. The only thing I have to add is to double it as it doesn't fit into my Tupperware slice container. If you double it it would be perfect. My go to very easy slice. Great one for the kids to make. Thank you 😃

  • Great straight forward

Submitted by Twice as Nice on 19. July 2015 - 05:01.

Great straight forward recipe. I used 200g of chocolate for the topping as that's what my old non-TM converted recipe used. I only needed the first 3 minutes to melt the chocolate, even though I didn't chop it in the TM first.

  • MY GOD....this is YUM YUM

Submitted by Debbie Baltzer on 4. June 2014 - 08:48.

MY GOD....this is YUM YUM YUM....always a hit with my friends & family.  Key is not to mix the rice bubbles and chocolate too much otherwise it gets too dried out and the butter runs too much (I only do it for around 45 sec)....love the coconut taste in the chocolate on top!  my hips hate it though  tmrc_emoticons.;)

  • This recipe did not work for

    Submitted by amiatu on 13. August 2013 - 13:48.

This recipe did not work for me at all.  Five minutes was not long enough for the mixture to emulsify so it was split.  Speed 3 completely pulverised the rice bubbles.  I have since remade it and it took ten minutes to emulsify the mixture, and I used soft spoon to mix.  It turned out perfectly.  I can't see how it would work on speed 3.  Sorry!   tmrc_emoticons.(

    Submitted by Mingasmokey on 2. July 2013 - 12:18.

tmrc_emoticons.) Another old fashioned but very good recipe for kids and adults that are still kids at heart. Rice bubbles weigh in at 90grams if anyone wants to know. I would double the mixture next time I make it, but very easy, thanks
