    Submitted by Oops_Inkblot on 1. August 2020 - 10:53.

Made with frozen raspberries. Completely runny at 20 mins so I added 10 mins cooking. Still runny but poured it into jars anyway. Thought it failed but it set as it cooled. Will cut the sugar in half next time and might add some apple for pectin as I prefer thicker set. Much nicer than shop bought. Made 1.5 of the small Moccona jars worth of jam.

    Submitted by Fiasco on 3. January 2019 - 11:14.

Just made it as per recipe in TMX5. Cooked it for another 4 minutes on Varoma at the end. Next time I might only give it 2-3 minutes on varoma at the end as I like it a bit runnier.
I used 400g fresh raspberries and about 360g raw sugar. Made two medium sized jars. Delighted with my first attempt at jam in TMX. Thankyou!
Now I always make it with frozen raspberries. Is in constant demand from family and friends......

    Submitted by brih on 20. December 2017 - 18:49.

Too easy, and delicious. I've made two batches of this now, TM31 with about 700-800g fresh raspberries and equal quantity of sugar each time and cooking both stages a little longer as a result. That quantity just fits, just put the basket on top to stop the spatters.

Poured into sterilised jars, 7 or 8 4oz/130 ml jars (korken from IKEA) which will make great presents.

Raspberries have an average amount of pectin, so you don't need to use jamsetta/pectin/add lemon juice. For those that sustitute other berries, look up if they are low in pectin - if they are, the jam may end up runnier (reducing sugar can also have the same problem).
