Fabulous recipe! Absolutely delicious! A little confusing with cooking time of rice/chicken, but I just cooked till cooked! Double batch of sauce is also fine to do Smile

Amazing! Possibly the best meal we have made in our Thermie.... Ever! Loved it!

Made this for Dinner tonight, oh so good. Just did a stack of veggies - carrots, and frozen peas, beans and corn, which stretched it out to give me 5 meals with rice. Sauce was divine.  Love  Thankyou, I'll be making this when the kids pop in for dinner, I know they'll love it.

Beautiful, my partner loves this and he is so fussy! I don't bother taking out the spices before the chilli and garlic, just do it with them all in there and works out fine. This is a staple in our diet now!

When I make it, I cook everything in the sauce so I fllow her recepie until blending of sauce then I add chicken in and cook 8 mins 100deg, then I add carrots and broccoli (harder veg) for another 5mins on 100 deg then the last 5 mins I add in my softer veg - I find it cooks better this way. As I had the same problem as you - unfortunately tho rice is cooked on the stove

The people at the dinner party I brought this along to said it was the best satay they have ever had except from a restaurant.

Loved this!

Made my own peanut butter first! Love the flavour. Thanks Sally!

This was really tasty!  Thank you!  The chicken did take a little longer to cook, but that's ok.  I was concerned that it was going to be too spicey for us, but NO ... it was lovely!

So not sure how everyone else did it but my chicken didnt cook whilst the rice was on and then when you take the rice out and it says to cook chicken for a further 5 mins on varoma it still didnt cook. I added water to the empty pot because how are you meant to cook the chicken with no liquid in the bowl to create steam? a bit confusing??

Anyway even with water it took way longer than 5 mins to cook the chicken.

The sauce tastes yummy but the recipe is a bit confusing

Very yummy! I am new to thermomix so it took me a little longer than expected but it was delicious. Thanks!

This was very tasty however I think next time I would only use half the sauce and reduce the sugar slightly. I also used the rice method from the quirky Jo coxonut satay recipe with coconut cream and brown rice which was delicious :)

My family and friends enjoyed this dish. Thank you for sharing Smile

OMG - this is amazing! I am not usually a satay person but this was perfect!

Awesome- thanks. Used 1/2 a chilli without seeds and that suited us.

My 7 year old who doesn't really like rice dishes said this is truly amazing! and yes its is well done

Amazing!!!

loved the flavour of the sauce. only added 1 chilli in this time as unsure of heat but next time will add 2 for a little more kick.  great recipe

I got my thermie today and this was the first 'proper' meal I made.  It was delicious, I had problems getting the rice to cook and in the end finished the rice off on the cooktop - but I think that is more down to lack of experience.

Yummo. Even with no chilli. (Due to children eating) Will deffantly cook this again.

What's wrong with expressing an opinion?

Delicious. Whole family loved it. Only put a small amount of chilli as we had small grandchildren to consider.  Would put more chilli next time.

Delicious! Definitely using this one again. I made coconut milk as suggested by others and it worked really well.

What a mess! Why put the tumeric in, which is already ground, then leave it on speed 10 for a minute, tumeric over every single part of the thermie! Everything is stained yellow. Confusing rice directions, had to get the edc book out too. Would make some changes to the recipie next time, but it wasnt good enough for me to make again. Too messy, too boring. :(

Love this recipe. Even my 22yo said pretty good for thermie. I reduced sugar and oil by half and cooked 800g chicken. Still perfect. Thanks

Loved this, changed a few small things, some on purpose, some by accident but still turned out great! Even hubby loved it and he doesn't normally like rice

Great recipe but I personally had trouble with step 6. Maybe because I am new to the thermo? I would have liked instructions to make thr rice as well because I had no idea what edc standed for. A few calls and reading talker figured it out. Oops lol. But very yum.

This was loved by all in our household.    A little fiddly with the rice cooking at the same time as everything else, I found that the chicken took longer to cook.   I'm not a fan of the way rice turns out in TM so will use rice cooker next time and just cook chicken and veggies at same time.    Flavour made up for the soggy rice!   Thanks

Sooooo yummy and easy!! Definitely satisfied my need for take away :) Thanks!!

Yumm!  Prob doesn't need the sugar, good and spicy and very flavoursome,  chicken thigh is the way to go!
