My egg simply won't cook I

My egg simply won't cook I don't know what com doing wrong! I've extended the time to double n still no

Made this for brekky this

Smile Made this for brekky this morning. Missed the key 'in the Varoma tray top' mention and wasn't till 10 minutes (2x 5 minute sessions) that I decided to move the egg mixture to the tray. A little firmer than I like my omlette but following the instructions from the beginning next time will produce a better result. Thanks for a quick and easy brekky idea! (and my first varoma use!!)

This was the first dish I

This was the first dish I tried (after the stock) and it was fantastic!!!  So yum! I used bacon instead of ham too. It took longer for the egg to cook, and as a result the ,it at the bottom started to stick and get a bit mushed but it still tasted delicious! And the bowl is so easy to clean Smile Definitely making this again, my husband wanted seconds straight away!

I also think the mix would be great on pasta, just tweaking the quantities around a bit.  I'm going to try it for dinner Smile

Thanks! This is just what I

Thanks! This is just what I felt like for breakfast! Big smile

We have had our ThermoMix for

We have had our ThermoMix for 3 days now and this is our first attempt of using the Varoma, we added cooked bacon instead of ham to the recipe and found we did need to cook for about an extra 2 minutes than what was in the recipe but this was delicious! Will definetly be a regular on our breakie menu! Love

Learner hoping to get my P's soon!

I've tried to make this

I've tried to make this recipie twice now, i'll admit the first time i stuffed it up! But the second time i still can't get the eggs to cook.  I end up taking out the omelette filling and then further cooking the eggs for atleast another 5-6 minutes with water in the bowl to steam.  Any ideas??? I"m not sure if it's the baking paper i'm using but it doesn't seem to be steaming in the varoma properly! Puzzled

Great. Kids loved the varoma

Great. Kids loved the varoma omelette and the filling was delicious. I added garlic and some herbs to the filling which worked well.

Now updated with VAROMA

Now updated with VAROMA cooked eggs/omelette instead of pan eggs.

Well I made my first omelette

Well I made my first omelette in the varoma, and it was easy, approx 5 mins, for four eggs, maybe 6 mins for six eggs.

I guess you can run the filling in the jug for six mins while the omelette cooks, I don't see an issue with that, however, six mins would be from 'already hot'. So not including warm up time.

I suggest setting the cooking time to 7 minutes. Have the varoma fitted. After 1 or two minutes of cooking, get the eggs in the varoma on the baking paper. This way, the varoma is nice and hot and eggs start cooking instantly
