Perfect! And sooo easy. I didn't add the oil, as I used salted peanuts instead of brazil nuts. Yum

I love this & make it all the time. I always double it & it lasts well, I don't even refridgerate it. Sometimes I use macadamias instead of brazil or 1/2 of each. If it's mixed for 3 minutes, the natural oils of the brazil/macadamias will start to escape & you don't always need oil. tmrc_emoticons.)

I worked out really well, the added oil certainly made it a creamer consistency. I used raw hazelnuts, but next time I think I'd roast whatever nuts I use to give it a nicer flavour

Great recipe yum! I used a little bit of olive oil and added a pinch of himalayin salt. Very pleased, usually pay $9 for a jar at the shops.

This is a great recipe! So incredibly easy to make, and yummy too. I'll never have to buy nut butter again! The batch I made hardly even needed the macadamia oil, just depends on the consistency that you prefer. tmrc_emoticons.)

I have a silly question...Do you use Nut Butter as a substitute for store bought Margarine/Butter???  Can I suppose that you can use this in cooking as well, again as a substitute for the store bought stuff?? tmrc_emoticons.)  Many thanks..

  • What's not to love about

    Submitted by Watz_cooking on 26. January 2014 - 11:33.

What's not to love about this. I didn't have any cashews nor Macadamia Oil and was too lazy to go the shop !!  So I substituted mixed dry roasted nuts for the cashews and omited the Macadamia Oil. Delicious and healthier - I promise will never  buy bought stuff again. I might add just a dash of oil next time but it is excellent without. Love
