WOW!!  Absolutely delicious!!  I've made this recipe 3 times in 3 weeks with a over supply of spinach in my garden.  It's so easy and moreish!  The only changes I make are adding a small wedge of cheddar cheese and using lemon infused olive oil.

  • Really enjoyed this and

    Submitted by brooket on 4. August 2015 - 15:10.

Really enjoyed this and everyone who tried it has wanted to know what is in it! I added some feta chese (as well as the parmesan), and instead of mixed herbs I used about 1/2 tsp ground corriander (though fresh would probably taste nicer) and I used dried red chilli seeds (couple of pinches). Doesn't last that well for the next day as becomes quite firm, however colour remains good- eat the day you prepare it is best for texture. Thanks for the recipe!

I started making this only to realise too late that I had no parmesan left.  A fellow forum member suggested using cheddar instead, and WOW!  THIS IS THE BEST!  I can't wait to try it with the parmesan though.  Thank you for sharing.

    Sensational!

So quick and easy and always a hit!  I always use fresh herbs from the garden in place of the dried ones. We also really like spice in this house, so I don't bother de-seeding the chilli.  Delicious!  Thanks for sharing n

Submitted by Debra Koch on 2. September 2014 - 12:09.

I just made my variation of this recipe.  I used half parmesan and half Danish Feta.  Also I added fresh herbs from my garden instead of dried  - lemon thyme, lemon mint, parsley and garlic chives.  It is delicious and I will be making this regularly instead of the bought dips.   Thanks for the recipe. tmrc_emoticons.)

Fantastic dip! Was a huge hit with the family for my sons second birthday. I didn't have fresh chilli so used a teaspoon of flakes and substituted the mixed herbs for cajan seasoning. Yummy!
