If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Variation on the mushroom sauce as found on page 138 of the Basic Cookbook (BCB)
Chop red onion 2sec/speed 5. Scrape down bowl.
Add EVOO and saute 3min/120/speed 1.
Add mushrooms and cook 5min/120/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1. Scrape down bowl.
Add water and vegetable stock and cook 20min/VAROMA/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 with MC off.
Add cream, cornflour mixture and pepper and cook 2min/80/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 with MC off.
Blitz 3sec/speef 5 with MC on.

Delicious, I added garlic and sautéed with red onion. Then 250g water with 50g of red wine. 1 tablespoon of stock was salty enough. 😁
