Ingredients

Pear Jam

  • 1000 g Tinned pear in syrup, Drained
  • 500 g sugar
  • 1 package Jamsetter

Recipe's preparation

    Pear Jam
  1. Puree pears in Closed lid speed 4 for 15 seconds or until smooth. Heat for 5 minutes 100' speed 1.

  2. Add sugar and jamsetter and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds.

  3. Cook for 10 minutes 100' speed 2

    Allow to cool in the Closed lid before transferring to jars or containers.

Tip

Jam is best stored in fridge. It will continue to set as it cools

    As a child living in Algeria Africa, my favourite jam was pear jam. You can not find it in any store anywhere. I can't wait to make loads of this. Thank You Thank You Thank You  Love

    This is delicious! tmrc_emoticons.) I find I have to cook the jam for 5-10 minutes longer. We've also used fresh pears, and the cooking time is more like 25-30 minutes with fresh rather than tinned pears.
