If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Put all ingredients into "Closed lid" and blend 5 secs speed 6. Scrape down and blend further 15 secs speed 6. Add more lemon juice, olive oil or pepper to adjust consistency and flavour according to taste.
Serve stirred through cooked pasta of your choice, cubed avocado, diced tomatoes, ham and parmesan cheese.

This is a simple and easily modified recipe. I only had roughly equal ingredients to make 1/3 quantity and it tasted great. Thank you.
This pesto tasted good with a
This pesto tasted good with a great texture. I too made a half quantity and used a garlic clove as I didn't have any garlic oil. I should have read the other comment first! Next time I will use less lemon juice as well as it was a little too acidic for my taste.
A good recipe to use up
A good recipe to use up rocket. I used half the quantities as it was all I had but instead of garlic oil I added a clove of garlic (forgetting I halved the recipe, I should have only used half a clove as it is very garlicky). I didn't have any basil and I think it would have been nicer with it as per the recipe. I found I was happy with the consistency after the first 5 secs and didn't need to take it further.
