Tip

I don't keep my Peanut butter in the fridge as it is easier to spread straight from the pantry. It never lasts long enough in our house to be able to say how long it will keep.

Love this recipe. I added 20g liquid coconut oil for a more creamier texture in the last step. Next time I will reduce salt to 1tsp. I will never buy peanut butter again. Thank you for the recipe.

My favourite peanut paste recipe. I'd do a batch of this every week or two using whatever size bag of peanuts I happen to buy. Works perfectly.

I only added 1tsp of salt, next time I won't blend the first step as long so it's a bit crunchier. I won't buy peanut butter again. So good ! Smile

Super crunchy peanut butter - I love peanut butter and I love that I can make it so easily in my Thermomix! I also love that this recipe does not call for any extra oil! I did make a few tweaks: I only chopped 100g of peanuts for 2 seconds at step 1, and only used 1 teaspoon of salt which was perfect for us. Five stars! Thanks for sharing!

Good recipe but I would make some changes. I put 1 tsp salt and that was more than enough. Also next time I will chop the first lot of nuts a lot less and only do 100g.

Does anyone have an idea how long the peanut butter will last either in the fridge or pantry?  Looks like a fantastic recipe but just want to know how much to make so it doesn't "go off".

Great recipe. I didn't add any salt and although my peanuts were bought roasted I did roast them further in the oven. Can hardly tell that it's not store bought. Will be my go-to recipe from now on

  • I really like the texture.

    Submitted by Maryt21 on 22. December 2014 - 13:31.

I really like the texture. However I suspect your tablespoons might be a different size to ours. 1 tbsp of salt is too much for us. my tablespoon is equal to four teaspoons. I will go and buy some more peanuts and dilute it, then I think it will be great.

Easy and so quick! Have made this a couple of times and never added salt. Last time I doubled the quantity, and although in the final blending the crunchier didn't altogether mix with the smoother mix, I was very happy with the end result. Thanks heaps for posting!
