  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 400g can tomatoes
  • 1/2 level tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 level tsp dried oregano
  • 1 level tsp curry powder
  • 1-2 level tbsp sugar, adjust to taste
  • 100 grams water

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic, onion and ginger into mixing bowl and chop 3 secs/sp 7. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula and repeat if neccessary.

     

     

     

     

  2. Add all remaining ingredients and cook 12 mins/120C/sp 1

  3. Blend 10 secs/sp 5 or until a smooth consistency is achieved

  4. Pour into jar or use as needed
