  • Orange peel from 1/4 orange
  • 40g orange, freshly squeezed
  • Coriander, leaves fresh, small handful
  • basil leaves, fresh, small handful
  • 1 Green Apple quartered
  • 1 carrot, cut into 4
  • 1 stalk Celery, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 35 g Coconut moist flakes
  • 1 tsp sea salt

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    METHOD

  1. 1. Place peel in bowl and grate 20 sec on Speed 8 

    2. Add Coriander and Basil and chop 5 sec on Speed 5

    3. Add remaining ingredients except for pistachios 6 sec on Speed 4 or untill desired

    4. Add pistachio nuts 5 sec on Counter-clockwise operation Speed 2

Tip

This would work lovely with a chilly finely grated to add a little Zing.

  • How much pistachio nuts

    How much pistachio nuts please.  Could you also tell me what coconut moist flakes are and what sort of shop stocks  them? (I'm in NZ).  Thank you, I'm looking forward to trying.
