Yummy but operator resulted in the peas not being cooked. I served them cold and they were eaten without fuss.

Not a fan unfortunately. I used this recipe because we decided to have pies at the last minute and normally I soak split peas overnight but in this case wasnt prepared. The 7 minutes cooking time just doesnt cut it, I cooked for 14 minutes. Aside from that I think my taste just prefers split peas. I wouldnt make these again, nothing to do with your recipe, just personal taste.

I have friends from the UK
I have friends from the UK (that live in Australia) who do not own a Thermomix. The way they make it is over the stove top. All the processes they do to make the mushy peas sounds like a lot of hard work!! . I will deliever them some as I will be interested to see if this recipe measures up to their expectations . I found this recipe delicious and easy!! Thanks for sharing!
I used a little pouring cream
I used a little pouring cream instead of sour cream, came out great. The 7 minutes on varoma temp didn't cut it, had to do it twice as long to heat them up, and looking back on it, should have cooked them longer before blending, as it ended up not hot enough.
Visitors loved it....made it
Visitors loved it....made it to accompany good old meat pies and it went down a treat! Thank you.

Sooo good! Would never have made this without thermie even though it is easy. having the Thermomix makes me do new stuff all the time. You've got to try this!
Thanks for a great recipe! I
Thanks for a great recipe! I also had to lengthen the time to cook the peas (or could have used hot water) and then also lessened all other ingredients (as we are not people who like salt) and wow what a great result!

This is delish!
I doubled the recipe, cooked for 10 mins. Also used thickened cream instead of sour cream (that's all I had). Perfection!
I served it with slow cooked beef pie, mashed potato, and honey-glazed baby carrots. Great winter meal!
