If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1 Chop Onion & Garlic speed 6 for 4 seconds
2 Add Oil and saute at 100 degrees for 2 minutes
3 Add Curry Powder saute at 100 degrees for 1 minute
4 Add Sweet Potato,Vegetable Stock Paste,Granny Smith Apple,Coconut Cream & Water
5 Cook at 90 degrees for 20 minutes on speed 2
6 Blend by starting on speed 5 increasing to speed 7 for 40 seconds

You can skip step 6 if you wish to have a soup that has a little more texture

Delicious, well worth making!
I omitted the apple because it was sweet enough without it. It’s a very thick soup, so I suspect it won’t hurt to thin it out with more water.
