Have attempted 2 batches
Have attempted 2 batches today (and too expensive to try a third time unless someone can help me tweak). Extended the cooking time of the first batch a few times and eventually burnt them so threw them out. Went back to the shop, determined not to let this beat me and attempted a second time. This time I watched my timer more closely and each time the oven timer went off I removed the cashews and cooled them completely to taste and test for crunchiness. Not crunchy enough? No probs, just cook them again for another 3-4 minutes. After 4 extra hits in the oven, i've given up. I can't get them crunchy and feel like they've failed. So sad coz now I don't have a gift for my boss at tomorrow's lunch. Oh well. The taste is awesome. Any idea what I should change (more butter? more honey? maybe add sugar?). Definitely doesn't help to cook for longer. Sorry
I have only done with Cashews
I have only done with Cashews and Macadamias, let me know how you go
