      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Add pepper and cheese in Thermomix mixing bowl and grate 5 sec/speed 9

     

  2. Add the bacon and sausage mince and mix 20 sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed3. At this point you may need to stick your spatula in the Thermomix to ensure that the filling is mixing

     

  3. With pastry (make sure they are 20 x 20 in size) proceed to cut in half horizontally. Place the filling on the side closer to you in a 2cm log so that it covers the pastry in length. 

     

  4. With melted butter, brush the oppositeside of the pastry and begin to roll, starting with the log side first. The butter will act like glue and hold the pastry together. 

     

  5. Brush the top with a little butter aswell and cut into 2.5cm logs. When putting the sausage rolls on to tray ensure that the join of pastry in on the bottom. 

     

  6. Place in oven for around 12 mins or until golden and flakey

    Absolutely in love with this recipe, so easy with minimal ingredients. I did find that I needed to add mince & bacon in batches as it was too heavy for Thermie to mix.
