Quiche Lorraine Dough

  • 1 quantity The best shortcrust pastry, see in the Recipe Community for this recipe by me (Monicaih)

Filling

  • 6 slices rashers shortcut bacon
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 400 mls cream/milk or a mixture of both
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • tomatoes, cherry tomatoes
  • parsley leaf, fresh, or dried, for sprinkling

Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
    Grease a 23cm pie/quiche dish.

    1. Place ham, sliced onion and cheese onto the base of the (uncooked) crust.
    2. Blitz eggs, cream and salt and pepper, so 5/30secs.
    3. Pour over the top of the ham mixture.
    4. Place sliced tomatoes, sprinkle with parsley and extra grated cheese ( if you like).
    5. Bake for app 45-60 mins or until set and golden.
