Boobie Biscuits

  • 230 grams Butter
  • 300g grams brown sugar
  • 2 egg, large
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 4 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
  • 4-6 tbsp water
  • 260 grams self-raising flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp brewers yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 270 grams oats

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 175 degrees
  2. Add butter, sugar, eggs & Vanilla. 2min/speed3. Scrape down edges
  3. In a separate bowl add flaxseed & water, mix. Let sit for a few minutes.
  4. Add flour, cinnamon, yeast, flaxseed and salt. 40sec/speed 4. Scrape down, mix for longer if
    needed.
  5. Add oats & choc chips. 10sec/reverse/speed 4. Use spatula to mix to the bottom.
  6. 30sec/reverse/speed 4. repeat if again if needed
  7. Use a dessert spoon scoop onto tray. Use fork to flatten down.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes in oven. Let cool.

Tip

- these biscuits are used to increase breast milk supply
-use the spatula to assit in mixing before placing onto the tray
- this does make roughly 48 biscuits - halve if needed
- these biscuits freeze well
- you can add more brewers yeast in. make sure you add more water to ensure they aren't dry
- swap out the chocolate chips for whatever biscuit flavour you like. e.g. sultanas, macadamia
