      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line 28cm x 18cm slice tray with baking paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal when Fudge is set.
  2. Break white chocolate into pieces and place in Thermomix bowl. Chop for 5 secs at speed 7. Transfer to a bowl and set aside until needed.
  3. Place butter, golden syrup, condensed milk and brown sugar into Thermomix bowl. Cook for 8mins at 100 degrees on speed 3 with measuring cup off.
  4. Scrape down the sides of Thermomix bowl and cook for a further 20mins at varoma temp on speed 3.
  5. Add the chopped chocolate and mix for 10 secs on speed 4 or until melted and mixture is smooth.
  6. Immediately transfer the fudge to prepared tin and smooth the surface. Place fudge in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight to set before cutting into pieces.

Tip

Add a sprinkle of salt to the top of your fudge and press lighty with a spoon before placing in the fridge for a Salted Caramel Fudge YUM!

    I've made this recipe twice in the last 8days, first t8me was for my son's School Class Christmas Party, I added decorations on top to entice the children, today made it again for Christmas but without the decorations.
    Very tasty and so super easy to make.
