      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 degrees fan forced). Line two baking trays with baking paper or your Thermomix oven mat.
  2. Combine butter and sugar into Thermomix bowl and mix 20 seconds/Speed 4.
  3. Add egg and vanilla then mix 10 seconds/Speed 4.
  4. Add spelt flour and baking powder and mix 10 seconds/Speed 4.
  5. Add 75g of the choc chips (reserve some to top the cookies) and mix 10 seconds/Counter-clockwise operation/Speed 2.
  6. Portion dough into 24 pieces, roll into balls and arrange onto two large baking trays. Press each cookie down slightly with a fork and add a few choc chips to the top. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes then cool on a wire rack.

You could substitute choc chips for dried cherries.
