Low FODMAP Banana Choc Doughnuts
- 100 g buckwheat
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 10 g pea protein powder
- 20 g chia seeds
- 60 g water, warm
- 40 g brown sugar
- 100 g banana, (approx 1 small)
- 15 g cocoa powder, 70% cocoa
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 40 g chocolate chip, dark

Recipe's preparation
- Place a small bowl on top of the mixing bowl lid. Weigh chia and water and set aside to soak for 10 minutes until a thick gel texture.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Grease 12 hole doughnut tray.
- Add buckwheat to the mixing bowl. Mill 30 sec/speed 9.
- Add baking powder, protein powder, sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, choc chips to the mixing bowl. Mix 10 sec/speed 4.
- Add banana and reserved chia mixture to the mixing bowl. Mix 20 sec/speed 4.
- Fill prepared tray halfway with mixture. Bake 15 minutes.

Tip
#Vegan #lowfodmap Gluten-free flour can be used as a sub for buckwheat. If doughnuts do not need to be vegan then an egg can be subbed for water/chia mixture. Glaze of icing sugar, cocoa and water can be added.
